The artists behind Chevalerie

Director | Production Manager | Storyboard Artist
Ashley Svedson
Ashley Svendsen is originally from Calgary, Canada, residing in Houston, Texas.
She is a storyboard artist who enjoys working on mixed-genre projects.
Inspired by her background in theatrical acting and media research, Ashley is
interested in exploring character-driven stories that encourage audiences to
reflect on their own experiences and emotions. On Chevalerie, Ashley was one
of the film directors, storyboard artists, and background artists. She also
worked on the original character designs for the film’s initial pitch. The next
step in her career is to storyboard for feature and television projects while

direct more animated projects and pitch her own work.

Animation Supervisor
Simran Singh
My name is Simran Singh. I was the animation supervisor
on Chevalerie. I was born and raised in Douglasville,
Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. I grew up on cartoons
and anime which led me to grow a passion for creating
my own artwork, animation, and stories.
I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design where
I served as animation lead on Chevalerie. I managed a
team of around five animators as well as outsourced
individuals and oversaw the production quality of the
entire animation, helping to bring this story to life.
As I graduate, I aim to join the field professionally in 2D
character animation and contribute to telling meaningful
stories through expressive motion. In the future, I hope
to take the role of lead animator once again.

My name is Adriana Dritsas, a 2D character animator currently based
out of Dallas, Texas. Growing up in a culturally mixed household was
where I learned to love observing the differences between people, a
habit that is shown in my breadth of character work today. I found a
passion in animation in high school after taking a course at the Keller
Center for Advanced Learning under Instructor Brian Traughber, who
encouraged me to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design.
While attending SCAD for my BFA in Animation, I gained valuable
experience working in a studio setting and discovered a knack for
being in a collaborative workflow. I have developed a level of
expertise in programs like Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Suite, Moho,
and Blender while working in a 2D pipeline for student films, both
traditional and rigged, including shorts like Extinguished (2025) that I
co-directed. Fresh off the press as a character lead on the SCAD
Atlanta Capstone Film Chevalerie, I aim to continue honing my skills
to bring my education of rich and complex character animation into
rigged animated films and productions

My name is Palak Panchal, and I’m from Overland Park,
Kansas. I’ve grown up doing art for as long as I can
remember, which has fueled me to go on to develop my
own stories and animations. I was one of the character
leads and background leads on Chevalerie, as well as
doing a bit of compositing.
My next step is to become a 2D animator and a
Background artist in the field, while creating my own
projects on the side. In the future, I hope I can be a part
of more amazing stories to come.

Art Director | Compositing Lead
Sophi Morris
My name is Sophi Morris, and I'm the lead compositor
& one of the two 2D Art directors for our film.
Starting out in Birmingham, Alabama, I have always
held a fondness for the bolder 2D arts, my tastes
often leaning into the eclectic side. I consider myself
a 2D generalist, but I have a huge soft spot for
experimental compositing and motion graphics! My
biggest ambition is to keep creating making new
quality work that challenges the expectations of what
2D animation and motion graphics can be.

My name is Kaley Jones, and I am a visual development and
background artist from Daphne, Alabama. I attended Savannah
College of Art and Design where I studied storytelling and
concept art! My work focuses on immersive environments, visual
storytelling, and stylized worldbuilding for animation. I have
contributed to multiple SCAD student films, the most recent one
being Chevalerie! While working on Chevalerie I was responsible
for many roles, serving as a background artist, character designer,
cleanup artist, website builder, editor, and doing a bit of
marketing for the film as well!
I am incredibly passionate about creating cinematic worlds that
bring stories to life, and I am beyond thankful to have landed on a
team who is as hard-working, dedicated, and as talented as these
guys are. As I end my final quarter here at SCAD, I have no
doubt in my mind that this is what I want to do for the rest of
my life. Rain or shine, I can’t wait to continue this adventure and
see where it takes me

3D Supervisor
Mari Herrera Tovar
I’m Mari Herrera Tovar. I was born and raised in Cali,
Colombia, and I’m a 3D animator. I’ve loved 3D art for as
long as I can remember, which is the only reason I still
tolerate my software crashing on me right before I save.
I play golf and take out my stress by playing the drums.
My ultimate goal for the future is to land an awesome job
in the animation or motion industry where I can get paid
to do what I love.
